Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Toro kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Mazatlán CF's Severino Toro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Berto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Mazatlán CF's goalkeeper Federico Dorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Bieito. Federico Dorio came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquina's Reynaldo Bieito. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 34th minute Reynaldo Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Esquina booed when Mazatlán CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Palban's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Federico Dorio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 39 played minutes Reynaldo Bieito rounded Mazatlán CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Silvestre Pedroso hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Severino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Federico Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Palban in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Bieito notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mazatlán CF's Federico Dorio. Federico Dorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robustiano Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Albano Berto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Palban struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Federico Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquina. If Robustiano Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Severino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Lehoi charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Lehoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteve Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Severino Toro struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Albano Berto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazatlán CF. Federico Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Robustiano Gotzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Berto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The supporters of Mazatlán CF booed when Esquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Elazar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esquina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mazatlán CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
