With a left leg Fabricio Frichoso saved Chilecito from getting behind. Denis Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Timoteo Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Egil Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egil Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Gaur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egil Elg. Gardey AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Gardey AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Nofre to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Matias Ermengol put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Egil Elg. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Ermengol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, Cornelio Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Cornelio Abel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chilecito's Fabricio Frichoso. Cornelio Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabricio Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Fabricio Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gardey AFC's Egil Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Lander in the 81st minute of play. Cornelio Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Frichoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Bikendi in the 87th minute of play forced Chilecito's goalkeeper Fabricio Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gardey AFC's Romulo Arias got a free kick in the 94th minute.
