Leonardo Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Los Forzosos de Boedo's goalkeeper Leonardo Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Bikendi. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Santiago was the one to do the kick off. Jose Matxin in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egil Elg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Forzosos de Boedo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gardey AFC.
