The audience was convinced that Gaston Dei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Cristos was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Benicio Cristos made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gaston Dei sent off a good shot on target. Central Sur had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
