Maximino Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Bizi having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Namık Bozdağ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 76 played minutes Bordenave got a freekick which was hit by Christian Urtun. After a defensive mix-up in Caudillo Bonaerense's zone, Ceferino Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Bizi came out of the goal and Ceferino Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Namık Bozdağ in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bordenave walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
