After a rather tough play, Alastuey's Angel Argenis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alastuey's Lonnie Barger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Olentzaro in the 7th minute of play. Lonnie Barger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Olentzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angel Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Barger having to interfere. Georgi Botusharov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Weterio in the 30th minute of the match. Georgi Botusharov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angel Argenis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Lucio Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Georgi Botusharov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alastuey's Angel Argenis got a free kick in the 37th minute. Georgi Botusharov made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Camilo Ricart sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Ricart got free with Georgi Botusharov in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Angel Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lonnie Barger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Alastuey got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Ixidor. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Weterio made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Freddy Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Botusharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robustiano Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucio Weterio came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Alastuey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Weterio couldn't finish the play. Mercedes's Georgi Botusharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Weterio in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Alastuey's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Olentzaro came free, but Lonnie Barger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mercedes's Georgi Botusharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Vedillo in the 83rd minute of play. Alastuey's Lonnie Barger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Alastuey from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Alastuey's Esteve Ixidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georgi Botusharov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Gabon got free with Lonnie Barger in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alastuey were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mercedes for a fine match.
