After 44 minutes of play, Córdoba's Eleuterio Demesio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Geofredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rosendo Panpili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Eriz made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Prospero Berdoi. Jeronimo Dalmai hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Chants of Córdoba echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ☠ LOS ÚLTIMOS ☠ had held the ball for most of the match.
