The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Osoitz's late challenge caught a Sportivo San Cristóforo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Burutzagi during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yuchán booed when Sportivo San Cristóforo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 21st minute of the match Epifanio Burutzagi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Epifanio Burutzagi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Sportivo San Cristóforo's Epifanio Burutzagi got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Constancio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clodoveo Bonifaco stood somewhat misplaced when Sixto Prejun came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Yuchán's attentive Domingos Soter managed to snatch the ball when Delmar Socorro made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Ezequiel Constancio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Constancio got free with Leopoldo Cordeara in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yuchán were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Sportivo San Cristóforo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingos Soter took the corner. Clodoveo Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Prejun in the 69th minute of the match. Clodoveo Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sixto Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Sportivo San Cristóforo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Erlantz came free, but Clodoveo Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Sandino during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Sportivo San Cristóforo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Sandino to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Prejun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Bonifaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo San Cristóforo's goalkeeper Clodoveo Bonifaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yuchán had played much better football throughout.
