Valer Ticulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Urko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Lazo AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Gonchan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Vitin. Jacobo Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Valer Ticulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Ticulescu came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lazo AFC's Jacobo Urko. But to his dismay, Jacobo Urko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Jax in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valer Ticulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valer Ticulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jacobo Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, one of deportivo juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for deportivo juniors. The referee gave Lazo AFC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hernan Hartz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of deportivo juniors's Valer Ticulescu. 0-2. Jacobo Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Ticulescu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Melquiades Jax made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Vitin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gonzalo Quinito hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes, Isaac Vitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The supporters of Lazo AFC booed when deportivo juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Saturnin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Jacobo Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Ticulescu having to interfere. Melquiades Jaxs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Valer Ticulescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. deportivo juniors's Valer Ticulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save deportivo juniors from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Jax was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Lazo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 93 played minutes deportivo juniors got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Kepa. The deportivo juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lazo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lazo AFC.
