Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Dahlbom started the match with the kick off. The Cordona fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Cordona's Esteban Kiliz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Cordona's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Dahlbom came free, but Honorato Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esteban Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Palos having to interfere. When Florentino Emenon fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Ángeles de Cappa's protests and gave Florentino Emenon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, one of Los Ángeles de Cappa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Ángeles de Cappa. In the 26th minute, Cordona got a penalty, and Siro Lando placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 30 played minutes Los Ángeles de Cappa got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Oriche. Honorato Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Dahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Kiliz to make the kick off. Esteban Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Esteban Kiliz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cordona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Kiliz couldn't finish the play. Esteban Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gerardo Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Inautzi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Frank Dahlbom sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Cordona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Kiliz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Kiliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteban Kiliz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Los Ángeles de Cappa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Emenon to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Ibar's late challenge caught a Cordona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Ibar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Ángeles de Cappa getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nereo Ibar hit a great ball. Zeledon Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Palos having to interfere. Cordona's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
