The audience was convinced that Romulo Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Iraitz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Romulo Garcia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Iraitz. That made the score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. A collision led to LA FRONTERA FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Domingos Rico hit a great ball. Fausto Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, Victoriano Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Churunguez del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
