Arnulfo Rudolfo's late challenge caught a Atlético de Rafaela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Rudolfo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Medina's Arnulfo Rudolfo got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 played minutes Medina got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Lop. Rigoberto Polo scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Rozarius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Rozarius having to interfere. There was no doubt that Atlético de Rafaela were the better team. Atlético de Rafaela's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
