The independiente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Francho should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Cebrian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramon Francho. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Ariel Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Cordero made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gaudencio Cordero. Braulio Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Raimundo Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the independiente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Serafo in the 30th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of independiente FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Campione:s goal. Ramon Francho went to the wrong direction when Braulio Blai was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ramon Francho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Braulio Blai. Ramon Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Serafo in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, independiente FC's Ramon Francho got control of the ball when Ariel Cebrian tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Arias was the one to do the kick off. Benicio Rami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Arias's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a left leg Ramon Francho saved independiente FC from getting behind. independiente FC's Ramon Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Cebrian in the 64th minute of play. Ramon Francho came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Campione's Ariel Cebrian. But to his dismay, Ariel Cebrian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Campione booed when independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Cebrian's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Silvestre Colas charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Colas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Campione's Silvestre Colas got a free kick in the 76th minute. Bartolo Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Rami having to interfere. In the 79th minute Ariel Cebrian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bartolo Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored independiente FC's protests and gave Bartolo Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Beturian. Bartolo Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Campione getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Samuel Mederi hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Campione's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niceto Anaya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee ended the match the Campione players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
