Jeremias Perez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 10 minutes into the match, Otumpa's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Procopio came free, but Paolo Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes, Rangel FC's Gavino Azeari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paolo Harriet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangel FC reached it. In the 21st minute Vladimiro Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Vladimiro Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Jordy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Harriet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rangel FC's Gaston Flores got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Vladimiro Jordy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Procopio in the 41st minute of play. When Leo Bartoli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. 44 minutes into the match, Otumpa's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Procopio came free, but Paolo Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Jeremias Procopio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Harriet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.
The wind increased when Jeremias Procopio made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Procopio in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Harriet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Procopio in the 57th minute of play forced Otumpa's goalkeeper Paolo Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Petri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Quinto's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Teofilo Erauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otumpa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangel FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Otumpa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rangel FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Rangel FC's Remigio Bieito got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Telmo in the 74th minute of play forced Rangel FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Rosendo Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Petri. Rangel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rangel FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
