Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Silviano to make the kick off. In the 71st minute, Lapataia's Gualterio Gorbea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Fonda. Melchor Fonda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Descanso Verde's Natalio Fagondo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Sebastian Silviano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Sebastian Silviano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lapataia's Domingo Ellande. Domingo Ellande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingo Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Theodore in the 93rd minute of the match. Sebastian Silviano struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Domingo Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Descanso Verde. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
