With a left leg Horacio Uzuri saved Benavídez AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Dolfos in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Uzuri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Cambranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Glorias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benavídez AFC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Rodrigo Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Haimon Proussalidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Glorias booed when Benavídez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haimon Proussalidi having to interfere. Marcos Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haimon Proussalidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Arturo Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Glorias's Rolando Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Dolfos in the 42nd minute of the match. Arturo Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Horacio Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Polo was the one to do the kick off. Benavídez AFC's Horacio Uzuri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Benavídez AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Benavídez AFC's zone, Marciano Crispo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Uzuri came out of the goal and Marciano Crispo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Jurgi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Uzuri having to make a save. Marciano Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Uzuri having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Rolando Dolfos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Horacio Uzuri. 82 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Glorias's Rolando Dolfos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Uzuri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benavídez AFC's Horacio Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Dolfos in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Izydor Buda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Uzuri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Benavídez AFC's zone, Arturo Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Uzuri came out of the goal and Arturo Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
