Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sabaleros FC's Bernardo Madaleno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Adrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Madaleno went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabaleros FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaias Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Euloxu in the 16th minute of the match. Sabaleros FC's Aurelio Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sabaleros FC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Maximo Bittor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aurelio Lohitzun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelio Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Biörnberg in the 21st minute of the match. Sabaleros FC's Bernardo Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isaias Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jörgen Biörnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumampa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Biörnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sumampa FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Maximo Bittor hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Sabaleros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sabaleros FC defense, Benjamin Joey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Lohitzun. The Sabaleros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Joey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Lohitzun firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 48 minutes, Bernardo Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabaleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Misael made a kick off. Sabaleros FC's Rosario Caicedo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaias Adrio but with some difficulty. In the 62nd minute Jörgen Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Joey in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Lohitzun saved Sabaleros FC from getting behind. When Amado Tadzio fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumampa FC's protests and gave Amado Tadzio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sumampa FC's Amado Tadzio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jörgen Biörnberg took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Lohitzun. Aurelio Lohitzun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Amado Tadzio was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Sumampa FC's Amado Tadzio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sabaleros FC's Edgardo Olo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaias Adrio but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Sabaleros FC's zone, Jörgen Biörnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Lohitzun came out of the goal and Jörgen Biörnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sumampa FC's Maximo Bittor got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Misael in the 94th minute of the match. Sumampa FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
