In the 10th play minute Adrian Arotza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisito Hermelando. 1-0. Luisito Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Quinto in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Condado's Luisito Natal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ramon Quinto struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luisito Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Fenix. 33 minutes into the game, The Fenix's Adrian Arotza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Hermelando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ramon Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Fenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Luzea hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Vincente during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Silvestre Vincente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Quinto got free with Luisito Hermelando in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Quinto made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Eleuterio Gabino in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Fenix's Feliciano Indalecio. Sixto Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Luisito Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fenix's attentive Aquilino Guzman managed to snatch the ball when Ambrosio Gudesteo made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. The Fenix's Erubiel Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Cordarrel got free with Victorino Manni in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Cosme Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Frascuelo in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Ramon Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Quinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Hermelando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Quinto's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Luisito Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
