Salvador Camerino took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Olentzaro. Leonel Olentzaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leonel Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Camerino in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Augusto Foro hit a great ball. Albino Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Eder in the 35th minute of play. Salvador Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Olentzaro having to interfere. Leonel Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Ihazintu in the 42nd minute of play. Leonel Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Camerino in the 44th minute of play. Fernando Olentzaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Albino Hanot made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fernando Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Hanot having to interfere. Ramon Bilintx lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Leonel Olentzaro, was totally fooled by Palermo's Rene Iratze, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 89th minute, Jeronimo Bastia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Olentzaro. The goal made the score 1-4. Eloy Hotz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Senna Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Lehen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Camerino in the 96th minute of play forced Senna Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Leonel Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Camerino in the 98th minute of the match. Palermo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
