An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Clodio in the 9th minute of play forced La Banda de San Justo's goalkeeper Hernan Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Dubardo's late challenge caught a Aldao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Dubardo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hernan Eutropio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Aldao's Ildefonso Calisto. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Calisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. La Banda de San Justo's Hernan Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Baumer in the 22nd minute of play. Hernan Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Baumer in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Aldao's goalkeeper Fernando Lleir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Santana. Luisito Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Otsando might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Eutropio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Otsando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Luisito Baumer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aldao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The La Banda de San Justo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aldao were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Baumer to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafino Cordareo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. David George struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hernan Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldao. Hernan Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Guillem in the 57th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Efrain Tauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Banda de San Justo and the Aldao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Banda de San Justo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Efrain Tauro hit a great ball. Hernan Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Hernan Eutropio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Clodio in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, La Banda de San Justo's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Baumer came free, but Hernan Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Oscar Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda de San Justo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ildefonso Calisto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Eutropio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ildefonso Calisto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute Serafino Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Otsando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hernan Eutropio made a huge save. Hernan Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Calisto in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Banda de San Justo's Efrain Tauro got a free kick in the 89th minute. Aldao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
