The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Teo Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Hilario Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes Korneta Rocanrol got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Romildo. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Vieytes's Natalio Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Korneta Rocanrol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. When Constantino Romildo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. After 18 played minutes Korneta Rocanrol got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Romildo. 19 minutes into the match, Natalio Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Tino. Korneta Rocanrol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Marciano Tomi fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korneta Rocanrol's protests and gave Marciano Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the game, Jorge Erlantz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Vieytes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korneta Rocanrol the free kick. Jorge Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Vieytes's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Koldobika came free, but Ildefonso Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Club Atlético Vieytes's Carmelo Etxahun made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Tino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Korneta Rocanrol's goalkeeper Jose Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, one of Korneta Rocanrol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Korneta Rocanrol. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The supporters of Korneta Rocanrol booed when Club Atlético Vieytes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korneta Rocanrol's Edgardo Fernandes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ildefonso Louis but with some difficulty. Marciano Tomi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Louis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Cipriano Bieito hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jose Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Federico Oliverio came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Korneta Rocanrol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Oliverio couldn't finish the play. Jose Tino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Etxahun went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Pablo Goizeder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ildefonso Louis, 4-1. Jose Tino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Sancho went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Federico Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Louis having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Vieytes's goalkeeper Ildefonso Louis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Oliverio. Marciano Tomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Louis having to interfere. When Alfredo Elizardo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Korneta Rocanrol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Elizardo couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Tomi in the 89th minute of play. If Marciano Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Louis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Oliverio in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Atlético Vieytes were victorious despite being under pressure from Korneta Rocanrol for much of the match.
