But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Arnas couldn't finish the play. Leandro Nisio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Ferdinand went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Rolando Arnas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Nisio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st minute of the match Gaston Urbez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Nisio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Viamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Lluc to maneuver through the defense. If Claudio Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Jordy made a kick off. Leandro Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ferdinand in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of la hora referi booed when Viamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Leandro Nisio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Nisio made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Rolando Arnas sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Viamonte's Mauricio Ferdinand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Nisio. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. Bernardo Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Jordy's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Rolando Arnas made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Nisio. la hora referi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Viamonte's Mauricio Ferdinand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Nisio. That made the score 0-6 after 88 minutes of play. Viamonte played a much better game than la hora referi and deserved their victory. The la hora referi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
