After a defensive mix-up in Chacabuco's zone, Victoriano Guillerme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Onofre came out of the goal and Victoriano Guillerme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Guillerme in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Falkuša CF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gaudencio Atarrabi hit a great ball. If Esteve Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Falkuša CF's Gaudencio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 29 minutes, Pablo Aztore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacabuco and the Falkuša CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Pablo Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Falkuša CF's Pablo Mino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Onofre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Chacabuco's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Guillerme came free, but Julio Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
