The referee ignored estrella del sur FC's protests and gave Marco Elazar a yellow card for diving instead. It was beautiful to see Sportivo Belgrano's Ricardo Tonio in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Marcelo Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Rami took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Marinelli. Gonzalo Marinelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Patricio Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Rami was the one to do the kick off. Gaudencio Leoncio came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Belgrano's Lorenzo Odol. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Odol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 55th minute, Lorenzo Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Odol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Leoncio was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Marcelo Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Lidon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match.
