Orlando Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Ahlfors having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Nicholas came free, but Birger Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Peguahó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Damario to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Arias took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Ofelio. Astor Ofelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Birger Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Astor Ofelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Arias in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Baraquiel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basilio Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Javier Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Ahlfors made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jacobo Selmo sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Lorenzo Nicholas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peguahó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Nicholas came free, but Birger Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Ahlfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Gartzea in the 37th minute of the match. Birger Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Gartzea in the 38th minute of play. Orlando Bilbo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Javier Gartzea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Arias to make the kick off. Isaac Loco kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Jacobo Selmo made a precise shot to the right of Birger Ahlfors. Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 59th match minute, Los Bodegueros A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Birger Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Gartzea in the 60th minute of play. Birger Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Gartzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Eleuterio Arias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. The supporters of Peguahó FC booed when Los Bodegueros A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. It was beautiful to see Peguahó FC's Honorio Havier in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 77 minutes into the match, Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Nicholas came free, but Birger Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Ahlfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Birger Ahlfors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Mendebal's late challenge caught a Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Mendebal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Peguahó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Uxio got free with Astor Ofelio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
