Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zachariasz Zapolski started the match with the kick off. Anier Procopio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Loi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Zentena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Zapolski came free, but Fulgencio Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, C.A. River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Procopio came free, but Marco Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Zachariasz Zapolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zentena FC's Andres Macias got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Zachariasz Zapolski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zentena FC's Fulgencio Librado didn't even have to move. Fulgencio Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Zapolski in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of C.A. River Plate booed when Zentena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Zentena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Lopes came free, but Fulgencio Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Zapolski in the 36th minute of play. Fulgencio Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes, Elvio Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zentena FC and the C.A. River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Zentena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Lopes came free, but Fulgencio Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

C.A. River Plate's Alejandro Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Lopes scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Librado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. River Plate's Marco Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Kiempe in the 68th minute of play. Elvio Bieito hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Edgardo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Fulgencio Librado made a huge save. Zentena FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Zachariasz Zapolski scored to the left of an out of position Fulgencio Librado, making the score, 0-2. When Elvio Bieito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Zentena FC's Elvio Bieito got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachariasz Zapolski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Librado saved Zentena FC from getting behind.
