Blas Argoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 88 minutes, Iker Montrell made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lanus's Delmiro Tanio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferruccio Trinca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Argoitz having to interfere. Lanus's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
