Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Godofredo Cordarell kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, one of Taquimilán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taquimilán. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Astudillo during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mangoré booed when Taquimilán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mangoré's attentive Augusto Matei managed to snatch the ball when Iker Semeno made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. When Amado Criston came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mangoré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Criston couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Taquimilán got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Precioso. Angelino Chano charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Amado Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Marcones was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Valentin Marcones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Isaias Estebano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Valentin Marcones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Niguel's late challenge caught a Taquimilán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Niguel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mangoré's Ariel Niguel got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Criston made a kick off. Valentin Marcones made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Augusto Matei sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Augusto Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Erroman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Valentin Marcones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Criston's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Taquimilán's goalkeeper Valentin Marcones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Criston. Isaias Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Valentin Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Criston in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Mangoré got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Erroman. In the 82nd minute of the match Ubaldo Abeijon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Marcones skillfully saved the ball. Valentin Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mangoré's zone, Severino Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Columbo came out of the goal and Severino Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
