Taquimilán's Valentin Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Abaunza in the 11th minute of play. Raul Gabon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Marcones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Godofredo Cordarell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Cerilo having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Basilio Abaunza made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Marcones. Taquimilán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Basilio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Cordarell was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Saturnino Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Gabon took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Marcones. Valentin Marcones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, Yaretayo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Astudillo came free, but Saturnino Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Taquimilán were awarded a corner. Iker Semeno went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Iker Semeno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yaretayo AFC's Saturnino Cerilo did a great save. In the 74thth minute of the game Godofredo Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaretayo AFC's Saturnino Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Cerilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yaretayo AFC's Mario Errapel got a free kick in the 89th minute. Taquimilán's Anastasio Chuan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Although Taquimilán had been in control for most of the match, Yaretayo AFC still came away with the win.
