Gregorio Abilio's late challenge caught a Zubiaurre AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Abilio helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes PokerStars FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Abilio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Arnalt in the 11th minute of play forced PokerStars FC's goalkeeper Alius Variakojis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zubiaurre AFC booed when PokerStars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alius Variakojis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Luken in the 16th minute of play. Patricio Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Elvio Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Elvio Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PokerStars FC. In the 27th minute, Humberto Luken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elvio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elvio Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Elvio Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Hernandez in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Cordaro saved Zubiaurre AFC from getting behind. Alius Variakojis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Arnalt struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alius Variakojis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zubiaurre AFC. PokerStars FC's Alius Variakojis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Luken in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Hernandez to make the kick off. Rodrigo Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alius Variakojis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Arnalt in the 56th minute. Herminio Arnalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alius Variakojis made a huge save. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by PokerStars FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Ignatius was slow to take the kick. During this time Zubiaurre AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leo Ignatius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alius Variakojis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Elvio Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elvio Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Adan Quinito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Elvio Hernandez in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Zubiaurre AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Adan Quinito hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, PokerStars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Luken came free, but Alius Variakojis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Elvio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zubiaurre AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
