Anselmo Normando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbourne FC. After a rather tough play, Westbourne FC's Lino Llope got a free kick in the 11th minute. Anselmo Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lorencio in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Teodoro Laurentzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raquel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westbourne FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Lorencio in the 23rd minute of play forced Raquel's goalkeeper Anselmo Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cristo Quilino made a huge save. Anselmo Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Isidro Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Westbourne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Lorencio couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Benicio Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Raquel's Anselmo Normando got control of the ball when Isidro Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Raquel's Vicente Canor got a free kick in the 65th minute. Justo Quintan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes, Raquel's Artemio Quinton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Quilino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Raquel reached it. Westbourne FC's Cristo Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Laurentzi in the 78th minute of play. Benicio Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Quilino having to interfere. Ernesto Hever hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Artemio Quinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristo Quilino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Westbourne FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Raquel had controlled the match.
