The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The El Pasaje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Diegote F.C El Regreso's goalkeeper Jaime Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Rosio. 12 minutes into the game, Vicente Vigil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jaime Oto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bruno Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Monte in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Urki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Diegote F.C El Regreso getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bruno Batenburg hit a great ball. Bruno Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Diegote F.C El Regreso's zone, Leopoldo Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Oto came out of the goal and Leopoldo Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Ellande was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Gustavo Ellande hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Celestino Cordero in the 31st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bruno Urki's left hand side. Bruno Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Ulises Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pasaje's Bruno Urki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorio Luzea scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Urki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Monte in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Urki saved El Pasaje from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Monte in the 48th minute of play forced El Pasaje's goalkeeper Bruno Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulises Monte came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Urki could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Monte in the 54th minute of play forced El Pasaje's goalkeeper Bruno Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Luzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bruno Urki made a huge save. When Delmar Gonsalvo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pasaje's protests and gave Delmar Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Pasaje getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Delmar Gonsalvo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Monte in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Urki saved El Pasaje from getting behind. The supporters of Diegote F.C El Regreso booed when El Pasaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Leonel Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Weather successfully managed to get himself past El Pasaje's defense and had a dream possibility and totally alone with Bruno Urki everyone thought he would score, but the ball went just outside the top right corner. Gabriel Crescencio's late challenge caught a El Pasaje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Crescencio helped the player get up and apologised. Diegote F.C El Regreso's Jaime Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Vigil in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Ulises Monte made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. El Pasaje's Bruno Urki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ulises Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diegote F.C El Regreso's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Urki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Leonel Incendio in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Diegote F.C El Regreso's Pascual Sugar. In the 92ndth minute of the game Victorio Luzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pasaje's Bruno Urki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Vicente Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pasaje's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
