Jonatan Pacho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mary Levy made a huge save. When Camilo Ubelteso fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aries's protests and gave Camilo Ubelteso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Aries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. If Delmiro Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Osmundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Sixto Aurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Aries's Mary Levy got control of the ball when Delmiro Umbruso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilberto Matei hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Aries got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Calvet. In the 49th minute, Delmiro Umbruso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mary Levy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cecilio Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Vinicio Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Aurre in the 69th minute of the match. Reynaldo Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mary Levy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Osmundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Ubelteso in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Atletic la Virgen Preñada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Pacho to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atletic la Virgen Preñada's Joel Arak got a free kick in the 99th minute. With his leg Vinicio Osmundo managed to avoid a goal in the 100thth minute, when Aries's Ernesto Florin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aries walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
