Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lorenzo Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Polo in the 8th minute of the match. Rogelio Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Itzaina in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Polo in the 16th minute of play forced Clausurada's goalkeeper Lorenzo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CUERVO booed when Clausurada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Niva in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, CUERVO's Everardo Raymundo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Hermelando. Lorenzo Hermelando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Luis Niva sped through CUERVO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogelio Napier. In the 28th minute, Clausurada's Andres Sergi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andres Sergi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clausurada protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andres Sergi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Clausurada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CUERVO:s goal. Clausurada's Lorenzo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Polo in the 34th minute of play. Luis Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Luis Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Luis Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clausurada's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Niva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Niva was the one to do the kick off. When Luis Niva, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rogelio Napier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Fernando Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Niva got free with Rogelio Napier in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, Ramiro Lawrence cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lorenzo Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rogelio Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Javier Musko in the 92nd minute really tested Rogelio Napier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rogelio Napier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teodoro Montel. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CUERVO had won after a very even match.
