In the 4th minute, Everardo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguas AFC's Victoriano Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gaxan in the 7th minute of play. Victoriano Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Lisandro Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pelado Trebucq's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Francisco Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Arias in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Pelado Trebucq's Ariel Igon got a free kick in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Tiaguas AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Manilan. El Pelado Trebucq's Francisco Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Licerio in the 22nd minute of play. Francisco Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, El Pelado Trebucq was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, El Pelado Trebucq's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Haritzeder came free, but Francisco Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Licerio's late challenge caught a El Pelado Trebucq's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Licerio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Tiaguas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Licerio to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Freddy Petri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pelado Trebucq's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiaguas AFC the free kick. Freddy Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Efrain Manilan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Cordearo. Tiaguas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Manilan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Bermund to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Tiaguas AFC defense, Efrain Manilan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Cordearo. The Tiaguas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Cordearo should have stopped the shot. Efrain Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Cordearo having to interfere. When El Pelado Trebucq's Lisandro Bermund in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiaguas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Lisandro Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pelado Trebucq's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Licerio in the 71st minute of play forced El Pelado Trebucq's goalkeeper Francisco Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Lisandro Bermund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pelado Trebucq's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiaguas AFC the free kick. The supporters of Tiaguas AFC booed when El Pelado Trebucq was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Bermund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Efrain Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Lisandro Bermund made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Cordearo. Tiaguas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Victoriano Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Bermund in the 82nd minute of play. During the 92nd minute of the match Lisandro Bermund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lisandro Bermund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lisandro Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Francisco Lobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Arias's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When Freddy Petri came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the El Pelado Trebucq fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Petri couldn't finish the play. Tiaguas AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
