Deportivo Riestra R4's Eriberto Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Oroitz in the 7th minute of play. Cleto Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Eriberto Lop made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Aquiles Orlondo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Madrid's Constantino Intxixu. Constantino Intxixu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cleto Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Lop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Tonete went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Riestra R4's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Dino came free, but Eriberto Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Lop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Riestra R4 got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Franco. Leon Tonete struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eriberto Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. Eriberto Lop was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Oroitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Real Madrid's Jorge Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Oroitz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cleto Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lop having to interfere. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Deportivo Riestra R4 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Cleto Dino in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eriberto Lop had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a rather tough play, Deportivo Riestra R4's Lázaro Alvarez got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Riestra R4's zone, Cleto Dino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Lop came out of the goal and Cleto Dino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Deportivo Riestra R4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Argi to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Cleto Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Dino in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Lop saved Deportivo Riestra R4 from getting behind. Cleto Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eriberto Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Radko Zhudev got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Aquiles Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute.
