After having played for 4 minutes, Agus Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Repuesteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agus Ledesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Gumaro having to interfere. Agus Ledesma's late challenge caught a Durazno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agus Ledesma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Repuesteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agus Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Repuesteros got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Bibiano. Durazno's Primitivo Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joar Sjödin fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Repuesteros's protests and gave Joar Sjödin a yellow card for diving instead. Joar Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Durazno's German Gaxan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Beremundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durazno reached it. Marcelo Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Sjödin in the 21st minute of play. Jeronimo Bordat charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Bordat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Zulfu Yücesoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Tadeo Benat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Primitivo Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Beremundo. Repuesteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcelo Gumaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agus Ledesma in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agus Ledesma was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th play minute Oscar Abancens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Beremundo. 1-2. 72 minutes into the match, Primitivo Claude notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Repuesteros's Marcos Beremundo. Marcos Beremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Bernardo Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durazno's Oscar Abancens got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Durazno's Primitivo Claude in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Repuesteros's goalie prevented a goal. Oscar Abancens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Beremundo having to make a save. Oscar Abancens struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Marcos Beremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno. The Repuesteros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Durazno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
