When El lasa AC's Jaime Cristos, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for El lasa AC. David Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Mirande in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Resignados's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Berdoi came free, but Narciso Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Resignados's Narciso Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Quintan in the 13th minute of play. David Porfiro was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Hermengildo Isauro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Isauro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Club Atletico Resignados's Leonides Mirande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jaime Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot. El lasa AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cristos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Cristos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Joanes having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 53 minutes, Godfredo Cugat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Resignados and the El lasa AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Cugat hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jaime Cristos took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Narciso Joanes to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the match, El lasa AC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Goito came free, but David Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of El lasa AC booed when Club Atletico Resignados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Resignados's Narciso Joanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Resignados from getting a goal against them. After having played for 73 minutes, Jaime Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El lasa AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulises Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonides Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hermengildo Isauro scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Porfiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 played minutes, Club Atletico Resignados's Haroldo Lohitzun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Porfiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Resignados reached it. 90 minutes into the game, Jaime Cristos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Joanes. Jaime Cristos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Resignados's Ovidio Montrelle got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tobias Piarres hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Atletico Resignados were victorious despite being under pressure from El lasa AC for much of the match.
