Simão Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Lluciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Fero got free with Ambrosio Inocente in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimeno Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Sugaritas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Fero came free, but Ambrosio Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Lluciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simão Pernambucano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The Sugaritas F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Sugaritas F.C.'s Alejandro Lluciano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of La Maquina Celeste booed when Sugaritas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Saturnino Fero made the kick off in the second half. Simão Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Kaiet in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, La Maquina Celeste's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Lluciano came free, but Simão Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Bartuelo in the 56th minute of the match. Ambrosio Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tomás Ponc hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Rene Inge came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Sugaritas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Inge couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, La Maquina Celeste's goalkeeper Simão Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Lluciano. Simão Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. La Maquina Celeste were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
