Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeledon Odilon got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Odilon in the 3rd minute of play forced C.A.Los Piojos's goalkeeper Basilio Mogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Freddy Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Basilio Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, C.A.Los Piojos got a penalty, and Norberto Hernando placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Freddy Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A.Los Piojos's Basilio Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Servando in the 21st minute of play. Adolfo Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Odilon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adolfo Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Los Piojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Ferrer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Tadzio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Tadzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guanacache getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luciano Tadzio hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Amancio Oxarra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Mogel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodolfo Nofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the C.A.Los Piojos defense, Freddy Servando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Mogel. The C.A.Los Piojos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Mogel should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Guanacache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Adolfo Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Ferrer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of C.A.Los Piojos booed when Guanacache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Amaya hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Evaristo Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Pero in the 60th minute of the match. When Zeledon Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Guanacache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Odilon couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, C.A.Los Piojos's Basilio Mogel got control of the ball when Zeledon Odilon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Buga hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 91st minute, when Guanacache's Leopoldo Marquez after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Basilio Mogel in C.A.Los Piojos's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 95th minute Zeledon Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
