Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Centenario FC's Ceferino Lauro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Anibal Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Mitxaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Herman Ekelund made a huge save. Isidro Froila hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mauricio Mitxaut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Herman Ekelund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Catriló AFC's Victorino Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Willard in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo James prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauricio Mitxaut came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herman Ekelund could save by the left post. Herman Ekelund made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mauricio Mitxaut sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Alexander Willard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Armando Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo James showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Rosario in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Catriló AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Mauricio Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo James came out of the goal and Anibal Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Ceferino Lauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Centenario FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catriló AFC the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Catriló AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
