In the 4th minute of the match, Santiago Cordarrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cirilo Silban was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 7th minute, Moises Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Iliana charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Iliana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, one of C.A.Ranelagh Futbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A.Ranelagh Futbol. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ranelagh Futbol's Silvestre Christobal got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nemesio Chumo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Moises Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Danilo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 吕辰景 in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Daniel Larrinzar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano and the C.A.Ranelagh Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Chumo in the 62nd minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Cirilo Silban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 吕辰景 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ranelagh Futbol's Isidro Mikelar got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cirilo Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the game, Daniel Larrinzar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Eleuterio Iliana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Belgrano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
