Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Estudiantes's Ivan Noe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goalkeeper Ubaldo Baldovino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Bartoli. Ubaldo Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Estudiantes's Ivan Noe in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wildermuth's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Justo Esiquio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wildermuth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes the free kick. A collision led to Wildermuth getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Justo Esiquio hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes, Estudiantes's Gabriel Nesto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Rojelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes reached it. With 16 minutes on the clock, Celso Raulo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 16th minute, one of Wildermuth:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wildermuth. The referee gave Estudiantes a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquin Manex, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wildermuth's Elpidio Rojelio. 0-1. Cosme Bartolis short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Ubaldo Baldovino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cosme Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Baldovino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 26 minutes, Adolfo Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wildermuth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Karmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th play minute Cosme Bartoli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ubaldo Baldovino. 1-1. Ubaldo Baldovino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cosme Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Estudiantes getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Apolo Abeitia hit a great ball. Elpidio Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Noe in the 41st minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Bartoli to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Wildermuth's goalkeeper Elpidio Rojelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Ieltxu. After a rather tough play, Wildermuth's Wincenty Grabski got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Efrain Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wildermuth's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Urtats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Baldovino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes's zone, Cosme Bartoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Baldovino came out of the goal and Cosme Bartoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cosme Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Efrain Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Genaro Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Baldovino came out of the goal and Manfred Stålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Baldovino having to interfere. A collision led to Estudiantes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Apolo Abeitia hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Wildermuth failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
