Americo Atarratze helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Devoto FC booed when Cholita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cholita getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Baldomero Maurin hit a great ball. Florencio Santo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Gines. Cholita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Cholita's Americo Atarratze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Joel Sandalio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Enekoitz made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Americo Atarratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Arias was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Moises Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Arias having to interfere.
