Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) C.A.I.'s Danilo Urbez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Danilo Urbez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. soy del rojo's Romulo Martxot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Urbez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Martxot saved soy del rojo from getting behind. After having played for 11 minutes, Segundo Gar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. soy del rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Gar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Segundo Gar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Txilar. C.A.I.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Gar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, C.A.I.'s Elias Enetz got a free kick in the 25th minute. Moises Txilar came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by soy del rojo's Segundo Gar. But to his dismay, Segundo Gar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Orlando Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ceferino Weather fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored soy del rojo's protests and gave Ceferino Weather a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, soy del rojo's Ceferino Weather got a free kick in the 34th minute. Marcus Fogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Romulo Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Martxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Urbez in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Urbez in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Martxot saved soy del rojo from getting behind. Danilo Urbez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Martxot having to make a save. Jarbas Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Martxot having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Juvenal was the one to do the kick off. soy del rojo's Romulo Martxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save soy del rojo from getting a goal against them. When Egídio Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.I.'s protests and gave Egídio Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of C.A.I.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lisandro Mark hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Orlando Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Moises Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, C.A.I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Gar came free, but Moises Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Txilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 82 played minutes C.A.I. got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Urbez. When Segundo Gar fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored soy del rojo's protests and gave Segundo Gar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to soy del rojo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Segundo Gar hit a great ball. Romulo Martxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Severo in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the soy del rojo defense, Hector Karmel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Martxot. The soy del rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Martxot should have stopped the shot. C.A.I.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because soy del rojo had won, even though C.A.I. had held more of the ball.
