Lucas Romo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Jago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Romo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Romo in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Lacra Unida's goalkeeper Jairo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Stephen in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, El Santo Arg's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Mitxel came free, but Braulio Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gaspar Stephen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Santo Arg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Club Lacra Unida's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
