Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benito Garaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Achille Cacciatore was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Vincent in the 10th minute of play forced River Play's goalkeeper Achille Cacciatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Melchor Sadurni fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres AFC's protests and gave Melchor Sadurni a yellow card for diving instead. Melchor Sadurni hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Achille Cacciatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Gimenez in the 15th minute. Achille Cacciatore acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Diego Frantzes. River Play's Achille Cacciatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Vincent in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anastasio Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Play's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Niguel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Firman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Eduardo Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Cacciatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Play's Achille Cacciatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save River Play from getting a goal against them. Aldo Bizi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Achille Cacciatore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Anastasio Niguel made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Firman. Talleres AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Jesus Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Garaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Firman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Garaona's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Achille Cacciatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Bizi in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Achille Cacciatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Vincent in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Talleres AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rigoberto Sazon hit a great ball. Achille Cacciatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Bizi went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute of the match Diego Frantzes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille Cacciatore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eduardo Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Achille Cacciatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Diego Frantzes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille Cacciatore skillfully saved the ball. Anastasio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robustiano Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to River Play getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. In the 83rd minute of the match Natalio Hitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille Cacciatore skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Talleres AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Firman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Alonso. In the 87th minute, Aldo Bizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Achille Cacciatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Achille Cacciatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Bizi in the 93rd minute of play.
