Cipriano Sarracino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nachishinaxanaxat's Mariano Atarrabi got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Guaberto Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nachishinaxanaxat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Quinito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mariano Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mariano Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nachishinaxanaxat getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Victoriano Etxekopar hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Paulino Ortle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariano Sauveur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 played minutes Nachishinaxanaxat got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Luar. Aurelio Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Mariano Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Quilmes FC's Silvano Jesco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Sauveur was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Quilmes FC's Enzo Shepherd got a free kick in the 39th minute. Silvano Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Sauveur's late challenge caught a Quilmes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Sauveur helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Sauveur hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Paulino Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Sauveur having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quilmes FC's Claudio Peter got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Jesco to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Silvano Jesco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Sauveur. The goal made the score 0-4. Mariano Sauveur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Ortle in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nachishinaxanaxat's zone, Paulino Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Sauveur came out of the goal and Paulino Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Jesco struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mariano Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes FC. Silvano Jescos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Mariano Sauveur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bonifacio Etxekopar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Sauveur. Nachishinaxanaxat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zeledon Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Silvano Jesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Sauveur was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 86th minute Silvano Jesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nachishinaxanaxat's zone, Silvano Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Sauveur came out of the goal and Silvano Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Quilmes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nachishinaxanaxat throughout the match.
