After 5 played minutes Quilmes FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Etxekopar. Alfonso Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Amaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Nazareno FC's Angelo Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Sarracino in the 10th minute of play. Angelo Amaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 minutes, Paulino Ortle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilmes FC and the Nazareno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Roberto Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Bordat, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Atilano Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abeitia having to interfere. Cipriano Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Nazareno FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gustavo Lore hit a great ball. Tomás Macario was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Angelo Amaya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Angelo Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Roberto Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fabricio Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Celedonio Frederico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nazareno FC's Atilano Bordat in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilmes FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 minutes, Atilano Bordat made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quilmes FC's Roberto Abeitia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nazareno FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quilmes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
