Alvaro Ricart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Ibañez in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Gorri saved Higuera from getting behind. Alvaro Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Oinatz in the 25th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Haroldo Orlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorrillo and the Higuera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chorrillo's Haroldo Orlo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sergio Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Alvaro Ricart made a huge save. Eustacio Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With his leg Alvaro Ricart managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Higuera's Sergio Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Foro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Guido Foro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Ibañez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chorrillo were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Higuera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Sancho took the corner. Matias Guib tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jonatan Gorri. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 54th minute. Alvaro Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Matias Guib got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jonatan Gorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Gartzi in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Eustacio Oinatz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Ricart was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Chorrillo's Ladislao Fernandez got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Ibañez in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Gorri saved Higuera from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Lucas Dominix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Higuera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillo the free kick. Lucas Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Joaquin Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higuera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Ladislao Fernandez scored to the left of an out of position Jonatan Gorri, making the score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
